  • Shipment data — Sender/recipient addresses, package dimensions, weight, and order details.
  • Payment information — Processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store raw card data.
  • Usage data — Pages visited, features used, and interaction data to improve our platform.
  • Communications — Emails and support messages you send us.

2How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the ShipWink platform.
  • To generate shipping labels and facilitate carrier transactions.
  • To send transactional emails, tracking notifications, and service updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience.

3Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Carriers — To generate shipping labels and facilitate delivery (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).
  • Carrier network providers — Our shipping API infrastructure provider (EasyPost).
  • Payment processors — To handle billing securely (Stripe).
  • Legal authorities — When required by law or to protect our rights.

4Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your information with trusted third-party vendors solely to operate and improve our services. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use your data for their own purposes.

5Subprocessors

10Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable steps to protect your data.

11Children's Privacy

ShipWink is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@shipwink.com and we will promptly delete it.

12International Data Transfers

If you are located outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ. By using ShipWink, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR Article 46 where applicable.

13Data Deletion Requests

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, email support@shipwink.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion. Note that we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention records).

14Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, ShipWink will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach (as required by GDPR Article 33). Notification will be sent to the email address associated with your account and will include: the nature of the breach, the data affected, the likely consequences, and the steps we are taking to address it.
