1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the ShipWink platform, APIs, dashboard, and services. By using ShipWink, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Prohibited Shipments
You may not use ShipWink to ship the following:
- Illegal items: Controlled substances, narcotics, counterfeit goods, stolen property
- Weapons: Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or regulated weapon components (unless you hold required licenses and have received explicit written approval)
- Hazardous materials: Items classified as hazardous under IATA, IMDG, or DOT regulations without proper labeling and carrier approval
- Live animals: Unless shipped via a carrier program specifically designed for live animal transport
- Perishables: Items requiring temperature control, unless appropriate packaging is used and carrier guidelines are met
- Human remains
- Currency, negotiable instruments
- Adult content items sent to recipients who have not consented
- Any item restricted or prohibited by the destination country's import laws
3. Prohibited Platform Uses
You may not use the ShipWink platform to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate ShipWink's software, APIs, or carrier rate data
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized third-party access to your account
- Resell ShipWink services without a written reseller agreement
- Generate fraudulent shipments, false addresses, or fabricated tracking data
- Violate any carrier's terms of service (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.)
- Automate excessive API calls in ways that degrade platform performance
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
4. Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and immediately notify ShipWink of any unauthorized access at support@shipwink.com.
5. Accuracy of Shipment Information
You are responsible for providing accurate shipment details including weight, dimensions, declared value, and recipient address. Inaccurate information may result in carrier surcharges, delays, or label voids — for which ShipWink is not liable.
6. Enforcement
ShipWink reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP
- Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
- Withhold wallet balance pending investigation of suspected fraud
We will provide notice where feasible, but reserve the right to act immediately in cases of serious violations.
