Our Commitment
We believe everyone deserves equal access to shipping tools. Our goal is to ensure the ShipWink platform is usable by people of all abilities, including those who use assistive technologies.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our current conformance status is Partial Conformance — some content may not fully meet the standard. We are actively working toward full AA compliance.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
- All images include descriptive alt text
- Sufficient color contrast ratios (4.5:1 minimum for normal text)
- Keyboard navigation supported for all core features
- Form fields include visible labels and error descriptions
- Responsive design that works at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas not yet at full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance:
- Some third-party components (carrier tracking widgets) may have limited accessibility
- PDF documents (shipping labels) may not be fully accessible to screen readers
- Some older dashboard modals are being updated for better keyboard focus management
We are actively addressing these in upcoming releases.
